La settimana 32 ha visto un deciso rimbalzo dei mercati azionari globali: gli investitori hanno guardato oltre la riduzione della leva della settimana precedente e ritrovato fiducia nel ciclo di investimenti legato all'IA, sulla scia di un'ulteriore tornata di risultati societari nel complesso positiva. La propensione al rischio è stata ulteriormente sostenuta da dati sull'occupazione statunitense più deboli del previsto, che hanno ridimensionato le attese di un rialzo dei tassi a settembre e contribuito a un nuovo indebolimento del dollaro. In questo contesto i risultati dei miner di Bitcoin sono stati generalmente deboli: la flessione delle quotazioni del Bitcoin e un hashprice compresso hanno portato diversi operatori a estrarre al di sotto della propria soglia di redditività. L'adozione di stablecoin e di infrastrutture finanziarie tokenizzate ha comunque continuato ad ampliarsi, pur in presenza di uno stallo del CLARITY Act: è sempre più probabile che eventuali progressi legislativi significativi vengano rinviati al periodo post-elettorale o al prossimo Congresso.

Settimana 32: principali sviluppi delle azioni blockchain

  • Andamento dell'indice: l'indice ha ceduto lo 0,8 % nel corso della settimana, sottoperformando il Bitcoin, salito del 4,1 %. Il clima macroeconomico è migliorato verso fine settimana dopo un rapporto sul mercato del lavoro statunitense nettamente più debole delle attese: gli occupati non agricoli sono diminuiti di 23.000 unità a luglio, a fronte di attese per un incremento di 80.000, mentre anche i dati di giugno sono stati rivisti bruscamente al ribasso. Il tasso di disoccupazione è sceso al 4,1 %, ma il calo riflette soprattutto una minore partecipazione alla forza lavoro. I dati occupazionali più deboli hanno ridimensionato le attese di un rialzo dei tassi della Federal Reserve a settembre: la probabilità implicita nei prezzi di mercato è scesa da circa il 55-60 % al 40-45 %, sostenendo gli asset rischiosi.

  • Ribilanciamento dell'indice BLOCK di luglio 2026: diversificare e affinare l'esposizione all'ecosistema blockchain. Il ribilanciamento di luglio riflette la continua evoluzione dell'universo delle azioni blockchain, con l'ingresso nell'indice di Bitdeer Technologies e Bullish e l'uscita di Canaan, SoftBank e Ceres. Bitdeer rafforza l'esposizione al segmento Mining Operations grazie alla capacità di mining proprietario su larga scala e alla piattaforma hardware SEALMINER, mentre Bullish amplia l'esposizione alle infrastrutture istituzionali per gli asset digitali nei comparti negoziazione, custodia, dati di mercato e indici tramite CoinDesk, oltre che alle opportunità emergenti di tokenization. Le esclusioni riflettono in larga parte una rilevanza tematica in calo: gli investimenti blockchain di SoftBank sono rimasti inattivi, Canaan resta fortemente esposta al difficile mercato dell'hardware ASIC con una scala di mining relativamente contenuta e l'esposizione blockchain di Ceres si è ridotta sensibilmente dopo l'acquisizione della sua quota in Bitbank da parte di SBI Holdings. Nel complesso, il ribilanciamento continua a migliorare la purezza tematica dell'indice, aumentando l'esposizione a società la cui partecipazione all'ecosistema blockchain in evoluzione è più diretta, scalabile e strategicamente rilevante.

Separatamente, Galaxy ha raccolto circa 3,5 miliardi di dollari di debito senior garantito per finanziare la fase successiva dello sviluppo del data center Helios, a conferma dello spostamento verso ricavi di lunga durata legati alle infrastrutture per l'IA, accanto alle attività tradizionali sugli asset digitali.

  • Bitdeer ha sottoscritto un contratto di locazione IA/HPC della durata di 16 anni e del valore di 4,7 miliardi di dollari presso il sito Tydal, alimentato al 100 % da energia rinnovabile, per 121 MW di capacità IT critica, con margini di reddito operativo netto attesi intorno al 90 % e investimenti residui stimati in 500 milioni di dollari.

  • Strategy ha continuato a privilegiare la liquidità e la stabilità delle azioni privilegiate rispetto alla pura accumulazione di Bitcoin, cedendo 1.638 BTC per circa 105 milioni di dollari nel corso della settimana ed emettendo azioni ordinarie per circa 291 milioni di dollari. La società ha inoltre riacquistato titoli STRC per circa 81 milioni di dollari a un prezzo medio di circa 89 dollari e ha portato la propria riserva in dollari a quasi 4 miliardi, elevando le vendite cumulate di Bitcoin da fine maggio a 5.258 BTC per circa 323 milioni di dollari.

  • Circle ha annunciato il gruppo di validatori fondatori della sua blockchain Arc, in vista del lancio della mainnet previsto per il 16 settembre, con la partecipazione di BlackRock, DTCC, Mastercard, Visa, Galaxy Digital, Standard Chartered e SBI.

  • BlackRock ha esteso all'Europa la propria strategia di tokenization, lanciando classi di quote tokenizzate su alcuni fondi monetari all'interno della piattaforma europea di gestione della liquidità.
