30 October 2025 | SAINT HELIER, Jersey | CoinShares International Limited ("CoinShares" or "the Group") (Nasdaq Stockholm: CS; US OTCQX: CNSRF), Europe's leading asset manager specialising in digital assets with ~US$10 billion in AuM, is delighted to announce that the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has approved CoinShares Digital Securities Limited’s base prospectus relating to its Exchange Traded Products Programme for the issue of CoinShares Physical Bitcoin Digital Securities and CoinShares Physical Staked Ethereum Digital Securities for UK retail.

Noting the FCA’s recent policy change regarding retail access to cryptoasset-backed exchange-traded notes (cETNs) in the UK, CoinShares welcomes this development as a positive step toward greater regulatory clarity for the UK digital-asset market.

Jean-Marie Mognetti, Chief Executive Officer of CoinShares, commented: “We welcome the FCA’s recognition of the maturing nature of digital-asset markets. CoinShares has long advocated for well-designed regulation that balances investor protection with innovation. We look forward to continued engagement with policymakers to help shape a sustainable digital-asset ecosystem in the UK.”

The Group believes that a transparent and well-regulated environment will support the continued professionalisation of the digital-asset investment ecosystem and provide a foundation for responsible innovation.

CoinShares has operated in Europe’s regulated markets for more than a decade. The Group will continue to monitor UK regulatory developments and evaluate opportunities for future participation consistent with its regulatory obligations and risk-management framework.
