CoinShares designs and curates the yield strategies and the risk behind them; Safe{Wallet} users access them through the Earn widget; and Railnet provides the vault infrastructure. Users' positions stay in their own self-custody throughout.

JERSEY, Channel Islands — October 14, 2026 — CoinShares PLC (Nasdaq: CSHR) ("CoinShares" or the "Company"), a leading global asset manager specialising in digital assets, today announced an integration with Safe Labs, the entity behind Safe{Wallet}, the self-custody smart account used by enterprises and onchain organizations to manage and move assets, and Railnet, the vault infrastructure for onchain asset management, originally developed by Kiln, to make CoinShares-designed stablecoin yield strategies available to Safe{Wallet} users through the Earn widget.

CoinShares designs and curates the strategies and the risk behind them. Safe's users can put their stablecoins to work while keeping their position in self-custody, and can request withdrawal at any time. Railnet provides the technology that connects the strategies to Safe, through a third-party widget integrated in Safe{Wallet}. CoinShares never holds the user’s assets.

The problem this collaboration starts to solve

As stablecoin adoption accelerates among corporates and institutions, demand is shifting from simple custody towards professionally designed onchain treasury solutions.

While earning a yield on stablecoins is easy to find, it is hard for institutions to use on terms they can stand behind. It usually means handing assets to a third party and trusting unfamiliar protocols, without the risk oversight and controls a treasury or finance team requires. As a result, a large and growing pool of hundreds of billions (onchain stablecoin balances now exceeds $315bn.) of dollars of stablecoin capital sits idle  despite strong demand for institutional-grade yield.

This collaboration begins to close that gap. Users keep their position in self-custody in their own Safe account at all times and stay in control: they decide when to put money in and take it out. CoinShares designs the strategies and curates the risk behind them, without ever taking custody or discretionary control of the user's money. Railnet supplies the technology, Safe supplies the trusted smart account where the assets already sit, and the result brings the risk discipline to a market that has mostly operated without it.

The strategies are built for the full range of users: corporate treasuries, onchain organisations, foundations, family offices and individual crypto investors who want an institutional-grade yield without giving up custody of their assets.

What each partner brings

CoinShares is the regulated, publicly listed risk curator. It designs the strategies, curates the risk and stands behind them. Railnet is the vault infrastructure that lets risk curators and asset managers run strategies onchain and distribute to users, without custom engineering. Safe is the smart account layer that enterprises and onchain organisations already trust, where users assets stay in self-custody.

CEO commentary

Jean-Marie Mognetti, Co-Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of CoinShares, said:

“For more than a decade CoinShares has built institutional investment products inside regulated financial markets. Today we are extending that same investment discipline onto blockchain networks. Institutions shouldn't have to choose between maintaining control of their assets and accessing professionally designed yield strategies. This collaboration removes that trade-off and marks the first major step in bringing institutional asset management natively onchain."

Safe commentary

Rahul Rumalla, CEO, said:

"Safe's role is to give enterprises and onchain organisations secure, programmable control over their assets. This integration is a strong example of that principle in action: users can access professionally designed stablecoin strategies while staying in self-custody through their own Safe account. By combining CoinShares' asset management expertise, Railnet's infrastructure, and Safe's account layer, we are helping make institutional-grade onchain finance more accessible without asking users to give up custody."

Railnet commentary

Laszlo Szabo, CEO and Co-Founder of Railnet, said:

“We see strong demand for properly risk-managed strategies, and for accessing real-world yield, but existing onchain infrastructure wasn't built for sophisticated asset managers. We're building the vault infrastructure that brings the transparency and settlement real asset management needs. CoinShares built these strategies on Railnet, and they are now accessible to Safe{Wallet} users – a significant step, given Safe is trusted by the majority of enterprises and onchain operators managing capital at scale.”
