Staking is a $60bn industry with Ethereum leading the way while also reducing its carbon footprint by 99.95%. The amount of ETH being staked continues to rise despite the programmatic decrease in staking yields with over 14% of all ETH staked. However, thanks to the deflationary nature of ETH, staking yields on Ethereum don't dilute token holders the same way other Proof of Stake chains do. While other chains have a greater percentage of staked assets, the many use cases of ETH make the opportunity cost of staking much higher.
