Blockchain equities ont reculé au cours de la semaine 11, sous-performant le Bitcoin alors que les attentes de resserrement de la liquidité ont pesé sur les actifs risqués, les marchés anticipant désormais moins d’une baisse des taux aux États-Unis d’ici la fin de l’année. Les sociétés de paiement ont constitué le principal facteur de baisse de l’Indice, avec Block Inc. parmi les plus mauvaises performances, tandis que Circle a surperformé. Strategy a poursuivi son accumulation agressive de Bitcoin, achetant environ 18 000 BTC pour 1,3 milliard de dollars US, tandis que les institutions continuaient d’adopter les actifs numériques, BlackRock ayant lancé son premier ETF Ethereum avec staking et Nasdaq ayant conclu un partenariat avec Kraken pour développer le trading d’actions tokenisées.

La performance a été négativement impactée par les entreprises de paiement, qui ont exercé une pression disproportionnée sur l’Indice. Les marchés anticipent désormais moins d’une baisse des taux d’intérêt aux États-Unis d’ici la fin de l’année, et des attentes de liquidité plus faibles semblent tirer à la baisse à la fois les actions et les crypto-actifs.

Strategy a acquis près de 18 000 bitcoin cette semaine pour 1,3 milliard de dollars US. Il s’agit du 13e plus important achat de l’entreprise depuis le début de sa stratégie d’accumulation, et du deuxième plus important cette année. Le financement a été réalisé via STRC (377 millions de dollars US) et des actions MSTR (900 millions de dollars US), que l’entreprise considère désormais attractives puisque son mNAV (incluant les actions préférentielles et la dette) s’établit à 1,2x.

Strive Inc. a annoncé avoir acheté pour 50 millions de dollars US de STRC de Strategy, estimant que cet instrument offre un profil risque-rendement attractif et optimise sa structure de capital. Strive dispose de son propre instrument préférentiel, SATA, qui fonctionne de manière similaire à STRC, versant un dividende de 12,75 % (STRC : 11,50 %) et visant une négociation à la valeur nominale, avec une fourchette de prix cible actuelle comprise entre 99 et 101 dollars. SATA est nettement plus volatile que STRC, Strive ne disposant pas du même profil de crédit que Strategy.

Nasdaq et Kraken ont annoncé un partenariat visant à proposer un trading d’actions tokenisées 24 h/24 et 7 j/7, permettant aux actions de sociétés cotées d’être émises et négociées sous forme de tokens basés sur la blockchain. Le lancement est attendu début 2027, Kraken devenant un partenaire de distribution pour Nasdaq. Cette annonce fait suite à l’investissement d’Intercontinental Exchange dans OKX la semaine dernière, qui vise également les actions tokenisées (NYSE), tout en permettant à OKX de lancer des produits à terme réglementés aux États-Unis.

Le premier ETF crypto avec staking de BlackRock, l’iShares Staked Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHB), a commencé à être négocié sur le Nasdaq le 12 mars, attirant 43,5 millions de dollars US d’entrées nettes lors de sa première journée de cotation. ETHB détient de l’ETH au comptant et vise à mettre en staking entre 70 % et 95 % de ses actifs totaux, avec l’objectif de reverser 82 % des récompenses de staking aux investisseurs via des distributions mensuelles.
